I am a summer intern here at Malaria No More. As a rising senior at Tufts University in Somerville, MA, I am studying International Relations and Community Health. Concurrently I am completing my Masters in Public Health at Tufts’ Medical School. I am fresh off of a semester that I spent studying abroad in Dakar, Senegal where I met Martin and got introduced to the work of Malaria No More.

Introducing Lauren of Podor

With her MNM FlipCam, Lauren Canton has been documenting how mosquito nets are being distributed and making a difference in the village where she is living called Podor. Located in the Northern St. Louis region of Senegal, Podor is right along the Senegal River near the border of Mauritania.
